Vienna AT - In the one month manifestation and exhibition in July 2005 in the Kunsthalle Exnergasse, freibesetzt explored in depth diverse concepts and strategies of "appropriation" through the presentation of physical spaces (free or occupied...?) in the Netherlands and Austria and the stories of their protagonists.

Taipei TW - Upon invitation to participate in the Taipei Art Biennial “Do you believe in Reality?”, Dutch artists Jeanne van Heeswijk and Rolf Engelen asked Innbetween to collaborate in the concept and content revision of their 2001 installation “A Paper House”.

Rotterdam NL - Curation, programming and installations in Poortgebouw November 17-21 2004 for Dutch Electronic Art Festival in Rotterdam. The Poortgebouw as an open social illustration of the theme "Affecting Turbulence: The Art of Open Systems."

Rotterdam NL - SAIT project sought to articulate/map the "cultural ecosystem" of three cities (Rotterdam, Minneapolis, Belgrad) in an attempt to bridge the gap between critical theory and contemporary cultural / aesthetic practices. Per invitation by the Witte de With Center for Contemporary Art, SAIT became a headquarters for secret agents in search for the WHY in Rotterdam.

 

Rotterdam NL - Room17c interrogated the framework and strategies of living as an individual through placing everyday objects randomly in focus to highlight the other side, the truths hidden in the shadows of the objects. A mosaic of elusive other cities within cities, as revealed through an international email questionairre, reflected etymological and sociocultural quandries between authors and authorities.
